How do I install student SOLIDWORKS?

Before You Commencement

Download the installer and serial numbers from IS&T's software grid (specify Students for "Who can use it?" and Solidworks for "Title Search").
Ensure that your computer is continued to the Cyberspace.

The first three steps must be followed carefully. If you do not extract the file prior to installation, installation will fail.

1. Right click on the zip file and select Backdrop.
2. On the Full general tab select the Unblock option.
3. Extract the zip file (this will take some time).
4. Run setup.exe located in the elevation level folder. If the installer window is blank see hither.
5. Select individual installation (on this computer), click Next.
6. Check the cheque box by 3D Pattern -> SOLIDWORKS Standard... and enter the CAD series number only. Get out other fields blank.
   
7. Once your organisation has been checked, you lot will be taken to a summary screen displaying all of the products you will be installing. Bank check the box marking that y'all take our terms and weather and click Install Now. Note: Products shown may vary depending on the version of SOLIDWORKS y'all are using.

Some SOLIDWORKS features are deactivated past default.
